Early Life
Happy Simelane, a 35–year–old from Vosloorus on the East Rand, was born to a teenager. She had a two-day wedding to Mduduzi Simelane, who combined traditional and white wedding ceremonies. She had various outfits for the wedding, which became popular in the media after her husband died. The wedding was lavish as it featured R500,000 worth of gifts and a R900,000 Porsche convertible bought by her husband. It cost R2 million in total.
