Early Life
Clermont is a city in the KwaZulu-Natal coastal region, South Africa. Kwezi Ndlovu was born here on 28th July 1993. She lived in Clermont all her childhood years and only discovered acting when in high school.
She moved to Johannesburg in 2016 upon completing high school. The first few months of changing location did not seem to do anything to her. She continued attending auditions till she got hired.
Career
Kwezi Ndlovu gained notoriety for portraying Vivian in the soap opera Isithembiso. In Isithembiso, she debuted on-screen as Vivian, a nightclub manager. Later on, she joined Housekeepers, Rockville and the Herd. In most cases, the actress’s auditions were unsuccessful. She pushed harder, refusing to give up.
She portrayed the role of Pretty Girl, a recurring guest star in the soap series Isibaya, and was also part of the drama series Housekeepers as Thuli Ngubane for Mzansi Magic. In 2018, Kwezi won the Darling Exceptional Woman’s Awards award for Best Newcomer. Kwezi also hopes to win international awards and a SAFTA. She died playing Nobantu in an episode of the Mzansi Magic serial Umkhokha. She drank poison to kill herself after developing depression.
